about

Rude, simple, raw. This 2012 album is the second from Naurea and the road to the next albums. Olimann is one of the avant-garde musicians born in Cuba and now living in Switzerland, always a step forward in the musical creation in his native country. Olimann was always different, from his beginnings death / black metal with Sectarium, with the punks of Eskoria or the alternative grunge with C-Men. In this unipersonal project he performs an introspection within the electronics and industrial rock, very focused on the work of distorted guitars and percussive sounds, which imitate the same drums as metallic tapping, hammering, and similar things. There are very aggressive songs regarding the sound of the guitar, sometimes very dirty and full of effects, where themes like "Infernauta", "Hot" and "Crazy" stand out, while in others, if there is something of a guitar, it hides very well, as is the case of the heavy "Cacique". There are very rhythmic moments, "Maquina" is one of them, which is a little closer to the conception of metal than, for example "Punto". Within the limited of this musical style, Olimann reaches the greatest possible variety, and the result is an album that is at least interesting, different, and that if you are a fan of the new Naurea you should have this in your collection.

NAUREA Zürich, Switzerland

The musical soundtrack for the new millennium. Dark art crawling on the edge of the abyss of madness. A unique and unrepeatable performance from one of the most bizarre and diabolic artist on the planet Earth. Be welcome to the madness!
